Confederate States, CSA #7 5c Blue, Vertical Pair, Tied on Red and Blue "Union" and Lady Liberty with Flag Patriotic Cover Front

The design is struck upside down, likely reflecting anti-Union sentiment. The pair tied by illegible LA postmark. Addressed to Hallow Square, Ala. "REC'D FEB. 3RD 1863" docketing. Vertical crease through stamp, and the back not original to the front.
