Imperial German Camouflaged M.16 Helmet

A very nice example; retains 80%+ original camouflage painted finish worked in large flowing segments of military brown, dark green, and brick red with thick black separating lines.  Interior has "Si.66" Eisenhüttenwerk Schlesien maker's size stamp, 1917 pattern metal liner band with all three white leather liner cushions.  One of these has two of the fingers torn through, all of them are heavily soiled from service use but remain in good pliable condition.  Side posts have the broken remains of an original brass mounted chinstrap.
