Stamp tied by Chicago, Ill. machine cancel dated June 1913, with no day of the month indicated because this was a letter at the printed matter rate. At the time of use, Parcel Post stamps were restricted to parcel use only; their use on letter or printed matter mail was not authorized until July 1, 1913. A very interesting usage.
